Tarita is passionate about people, purpose and creating women leaders. She works as a Life and Leadership Coach helping leaders, executives and teams improve communication, claim their inner authority and wisdom and experience significantly higher levels of professionalism, authentic leadership, productivity and self confidence. She is the creator of Leadership for Professional Women of Color. A live experience supporting WoC on their leadership journey.

Tarita honed her skills in leadership and coaching by working in a number of challenging environments as an HRBP for General Electric. She provided guidance to senior managers during plant closings, national union negotiations and establishing a shared services organization.

Prior to that, Tarita was a Parliamentary Assistant in the UK Parliament, an English Teacher in South Korea. In 2021, she received the Emerging Leader Award from the Cincinnati African American Chamber. She started Tarita Preston Coaching where she serves as an “elevating partner” for her clients. Supporting them on elevating their perspectives, mindsets and choices.
