Position Overview

We're looking for a strategic storyteller who’s obsessed with content that connects. As our Social Media Content Creator, you'll be responsible for creating engaging, educational, and emotionally resonant content across WISe Wellness Guild’s digital platforms — with a heavy emphasis on short-form video, wellness/leadership storytelling, and smart integration of AI tools to maximize creativity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Creation & Strategy
  

  • Create and edit original video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn and Pinterest.

  • Develop branded content series that align with our pillars: Wellness, Leadership, Connection, Equity, Growth.

  • Partner with WISe team and featured collaborators to produce thought-leadership content, day-in-the-life content, testimonials, event recaps, interviews, and behind-the-scenes.

  • Support the weekly newsletter with social media posts so the two support each other. 

    • Use social media to help drive newsletter subscribers.

• AI & Creative Tech Integration
  

  • Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Captions, RunwayML, Canva Magic, Descript, Adobe tools) to ideate, write, edit, and streamline content creation.

  • Stay ahead of digital trends and translate them into timely, relevant content for the WISe audience.

• Community Engagement & Growth
  

  • Write engaging captions, CTAs, and community prompts that reflect the WISe tone: confident, inclusive, insightful, and optimistic.

  • Monitor social performance analytics and optimize based on insights to drive reach, engagement, and conversion.

  • Collaborate on social campaigns that align with events, partnerships, product launches, and wellness challenges.

  • Engage with and reply to comments, answer DMs, and other basic community management.

  • Moderate experience with paid Meta and LinkedIn advertising. Have knowledge of boosting posts and work with the Director of Brand & Partnerships for support on bigger campaigns.

• Brand Alignment
  

  • Ensure all content reflects WISe’s voice and values — smart, soulful, and committed to real, sustainable impact.

  • Manage content calendars and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to meet project timelines.

  • Follow established voice and visual guides for copy and creative.

Requirements

• Proven experience in social media content creation with a strong portfolio of short-form video and branded storytelling.

• Proficiency in video editing tools (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, etc. and Canva for visuals (ex. Carousel posts, Instagram Stories) 

• Comfortable using AI tools to brainstorm, script, automate editing, and enhance visual storytelling.

• Passion for wellness, leadership, and storytelling with purpose.

• Strong understanding of platform trends and best practices across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTub.

• Excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, and a creative, resourceful spirit.

• Bonus: photography skills, podcast editing experience, or influencer marketing know-how.
