Kristen’s unique take on the formerly forbidden treat is a viral success and has inspired fans worldwide, including the likes of Reese Witherspoon, Kim Kardashian, Ryan Seacrest, and Chrissy Teigen, to eat cookie dough just the way they crave it, straight out of the mixing bowl! After starting this nostalgic nationwide trend, Kristen and her cookie dough have been featured by publications including The New York Times; People magazine; O, The Oprah Magazine; and Food Network Magazine. Kristen, a graduate of the College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP) at the University of Cincinnati, left a successful career as a design consultant when she founded DŌ in 2014. Since then, the brand has expanded to include a flagship scoop shop in New York City’s Greenwich Village, partnerships with brands like Bloomingdale’s and WeWork, appearances on shows like The Chew and TODAY to demo her confections, and thousands of nationwide shipments of cookie dough creations each year. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband, Chris, and their rescue pup, Nelly.
