Wise Rewards™ Program Terms & Conditions
Thank you for participating in our Wise Rewards™ program to earn credit valid toward Wise Membership upgrade or renewal (the “Program”)! These terms (the “Terms”) apply to your participation in the Program.
These Terms describe how our Wise Rewards™ program works and they are an agreement between you and Wise (“Agreement”). You recognize and agree that by participating in the Program, you accept and agree to be bound by the Terms of this Agreement.
How it Works: The Basics
1. Make purchases at our partners,
2. Submit evidence of your purchases, and
3. We’ll track your purchases, then issue rewards to you each quarter, which you can redeem toward upgraded Membership or Membership renewals following the end of your current Membership.
The Details
Purpose of the Program: Wellness
We run the Program to deliver value to our members by only recommending those businesses that we believe in and patronize ourselves. Additionally, we run the Program as a way to support businesses that we believe advance wellness principles. Businesses participate as a way to support Wise members. And our members participate in order to have access to a curated list of quality businesses where they can earn rewards toward Membership with Wise. In short, our program exists in service of Wellness for all involved. Welcome.

Changes to Program
We may make changes to the Program and/or the Terms at any time. We’ll let you know of any material changes as soon as practicable, of course.
Earning Rewards
You may earn rewards by making a qualifying purchase at a participating business, based on the terms appearing on our website from time to time, during a period of time while you have an active Wise Membership.
· 20% Rewards.You may earn 20% rewards at select partners, identified from time to time on our website. There is no maximum on the amount you may earn at such partners.
· 10% Rewards.You may earn 10% rewards at select businesses, identified from time to time on our website. You may earn up to $1,000 in Wise Rewards™ at such businesses.
· 5% Rewards.You may earn 5% rewards at all other businesses where you make a Qualified Purchase as defined below. You may earn up to $500 in Wise Rewards™ at such businesses.
You’ll earn rewards when you have an active Wise Membership and purchase products or services for yourself, your family, and/or your friends, minus any returns or refunds at businesses operating pursuant to local, state, and/or federal registration and permit requirements (collectively, “Qualifying Purchases”). Buying products and services in most cases will count as a Qualifying Purchase; however, the following purchases will not count as Qualifying Purchases:
· Cashier’s checks, money orders, foreign currency, or similar cash-like transactions;
· Lottery tickets, casino gaming chips, race track bets, or similar betting transactions;
· Goods or services of individuals or businesses without appropriate business licenses and/or receipts issued in support of a transaction; or
· Illegal transactions for illicit goods or services.
Claiming Rewards
Within ten (10) business days after making a Qualifying Purchase, submit evidence of the transaction to the link provided in connection with the Wise Rewards™ program. Upload the requested information and it will be linked with your Wise account, reviewed, and Rewards will be issued within ten (10) business days of the close of a calendar quarter (with quarters ending at the end of March, June, September, and December).
How, and How Often, Rewards are Issued
Once you’ve requested a Reward, our Program administrator reviews the evidence you’ve submitted to check the total Reward for which you may be eligible. Rewards are issued at least once annually (on a calendar year basis), after review of all evidence submitted by the respective Member in support thereof. Rewards may be, but are not required to be, issued more frequently, at the sole discretion of the Program administrator.
How You Can Use your Rewards
You may redeem rewards toward a Wise Membership upgrade of your current membership or to extend your current Membership beyond your current subscription.
Example 1: $15,000 Spend. If you participate in Wise Rewards™ for a full calendar year and submit your claim at the end of the year, claiming:
Spend
· $10,000 spent at 20% partners,
· $1,000 spent at 10% businesses, and
· $4,000 spent at 5% businesses, with proper evidence of each, you would receive Wise Rewards™ of:
Earn
· $2,000 for the 20% Partners spend (no limit on earnings at 20% Partners);
· $100 for the 10% businesses spend; and
· $200 for the 5% businesses spend (maximum of $500 per year).
For a total of $2,300 in Wise Rewards™.
Using the $2,300 Wise Rewards™ in the example above:
Upgrading Example. For example, if you maintain a Silver membership in year 1 while earning Rewards, you may use Rewards earned to pay for an upgraded Gold membership for the following year. After deducting the value of the Reward from the cost of a Gold membership, you will pay for any difference between the Gold membership and Silver membership. With a $2,300 Wise Rewards™ balance, you would cover much of the cost of an upgraded Gold membership. J
Extending Membership Example. For example, if you maintain a Silver membership for a calendar year and you earn $2,300 Wise Rewards™, you may redeem Rewards to cover nearly all of the membership dues for a subsequent, consecutive calendar year.
Example 2: $45,000 Spend. If you participate in Wise Rewards™ for a full calendar year and submit your claim at the end of the year, claiming:
Spend
· $10,000 spent at 20% partners,
· $20,000 spent at 10% businesses, and
· $15,000 spent at 5% businesses, with proper evidence of each, you would receive Wise Rewards™ of:
Earn
· $2,000 for the 20% Partners spend (no limit on earnings at 20% Partners);
· $1,000 for the 10% businesses spend (maximum of $1,000 per year); and
· $500 for the 5% businesses spend (the maximum of $500 per year).
For a total of $3,500 in Wise Rewards™.
Using the $3,500 Wise Rewards™ in the example above:
Upgrading Example. For example, if you maintain an annual Silver membership in year 1 while earning Rewards, you may use Rewards earned to pay for an upgraded Gold membership for the following year. After deducting the value of the Reward from the cost of a Gold membership, you will pay for any difference between the Gold membership and Silver membership. With a $3,500 Wise Rewards™ balance, you would get a free year of Gold membership. J
Extending Membership Example. For example, if you maintain a Silver membership for a calendar year and you earn $3,500 Wise Rewards™, you may redeem Rewards to cover the membership dues for a subsequent, consecutive calendar year.
Unused Wise Rewards™
Any unused Wise Rewards™ balance expires and will be canceled ninety (90) days after Reward issuance. Rewards have no cash value and are not eligible for cash-back.
Administering the Program
As we administer the Program, we may take certain actions with or without notice to you as needed to ensure the Program is serving its purpose:
· We may review Program participation activities of members;
· We may supplement or amend this Agreement; and/or
· We may pause or terminate the Program for individuals and/or overall.
Restrictions
“No Takebacks”: Once you tell us how you wish to use Rewards, the exchange is deemed final and can’t be reversed.
Taxes & Fees: you’re responsible for any and all taxes and fees that may attach as you earn or redeem Rewards.
Losing Your Rewards L
Rewards you earn are valid until the date specified at Reward issuance or until your Membership lapses or ends at Wise, whichever occurs first.
Additionally, you’ll lose any Rewards accrued and unused if any of the following occurs (we’re confident none of this will occur, but just in case):
· You don’t keep your Membership account current and paid up;
· You violate the Wise code of conduct;
· If we believe you’ve engaged in fraudulent activity in connection with the Program or your Membership;
· If we believe you’ve misused or abused the Program or your Membership in any way, for example: by manufacturing spend for the purpose of earning Rewards, by submitting evidence of purchase for purchases made by others, or for otherwise attempting to take advantage of the Program.
Program Cancellation – Your Rights to Use Accrued Rewards
If we decide to cancel the Program, you will be allowed at least thirty (30) days from the cancellation notice to use any accrued and unused Rewards under the terms herein. If you don’t use Rewards within any such period, all unused points will be deemed void and cancelled without consideration paid to you.
Miscellaneous Details
Membership in Wise Rewards™ and Rewards earned are not your personal property and have no cash value. You can’t transfer your membership nor any Rewards earned whether through your action or by operation of law (whether through bankruptcy, inheritance, divorce, or otherwise).
We may assign our rights and obligations of this Agreement to a third party.
Wise and its agents as well as our third-party service providers and our respective affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents or contractors make no representations or warranties, whether express or implied, including, but not by way of limitation, warranties of merchantability, fitness for intended use, or a particular purpose and/or otherwise arising by law, custom, usage, trade practice, course of dealing, or course of performance. You hereby release Wise, its third-party service providers, and our respective affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents and contractors for all activity in connection with the Program, including but not limited to, use of the Program, and any redemption for services through the Program.
You agree to indemnify and hold Wise and its third-party service providers and all of our respective affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents and contractors harmless from and against any loss, damage, liability, cost, or expense of any kind (including attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Program, any fraud or misuse of the Program, violation of this Agreement and/or violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.
The businesses and third-party service providers that participate in the Program are not affiliated with Wise. Participating merchants and third-party service providers are subject to change without notice. Participating businesses and third-party service providers are responsible for the quality and performance of any products or services they provide. You understand and agree that Wise is not responsible for any aspects of the products and services provided by participating businesses or third-party service providers.
Choice of Law and Forum. This Agreement, and all agreements with us, including this Program, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio, without reference to the choice of laws thereof. Venue for any dispute as between you and Wise shall lie in Hamilton County, Ohio. You agree to waive any claim of inconvenient forum.
