If you intend to gather, it is important that you gather responsibly. Whether you are hosting or are planning to attend a gathering, ensuring that you plan ahead for maximum safety standards is crucial. Please considering these easy safety precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19!

Safely Distance

Maintain 6-feet distance, meet in an outdoor environment and don’t handshake or hug (this one is the hardest for us!). As the host, prepare seating ahead of time to accommodate and set the standard for people to adhere to. Wear a cloth mask if you need to go indoors.

Go Extra On Cleaning

Offer individual paper or cloth hand towels in the bathroom, ensuring your soap dispenser is full. Provide extra clean cloth masks and antibacterial pumps sprinkled around the event. Consider wiping surfaces frequently and bring your own in a Ziplock baggie if you’re not the host.

Individual Food Portions

Best practice is to serve individually-wrapped snacks and treats to ensure each bite is sanitary without any extra effort. Looking for an easy, on-the grill recipe? Consider these Grilled Beet Kebabs from Crunchmaster.

Further, snack-size packages of anything- veggies, cheeses, popcorn, hummus- are great safe. options. Further, individual condiments should be provided to guests as sharing bigger bottles can carry germs.

Big Batches Made Small

If you are looking for an efficient way to serve your group, portion out large batches into smaller individual dishes. Salads can be served in mason jars, soups can be in shot glasses- get creative! This can become an entertainers delight!

Safe Drinking Habits

Pitchers and carafes can spread germs- consider single-serving cans or glass bottles that can be recycled! Wine Society and Dry Botanical Bubbly are two great options! Bonus- they are adorable!

Gimme S'mores

Have access to a backyard fire pit? Easily socially distance with s’mores. Create s’mores kits with chocolate, marshmallows, and roasting sticks- and don’t forget your Grateful Grahams!
