Key Takeways:
1) There is no one path for motherhood. Natural birthing, C-Section, IVF, adoption surrogacy or fostering- there are many ways to become a mom.
2) Allow for space for both joy and for grieving in your motherhood journey- each path is different and personal, and it more than likely will not always match your expectations.
3) As you take on a new role of motherhood in your life it is crucial to reinvest in establishing your personal values. Check out tools like Enneagram and personal coaching.
4) Advocate for yourself and listen to your body. If you feel something is wrong, don’t write it off. You know your body better than anyone else!
5) Ensure you select a provider that you “vibe” with! Like any relationship, it is important that you have trust and respect between one another. If you don’t feel like you can be open and vulnerable, its ok to switch providers!
